Will’s Not Into Mr. Hubbard

Will Smith is making it known loud and clear that he’s not a Scientologist. Although both he and wife Jada are very close with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Will states that he is not a member of the Church of Scientology. Rumors have been circling lately about the actor’s involvement in the church because of his close friendship with the Cruises. The couples double dated just last week at Cut restaurant and have been known to mingle in the same circles. Will tells the New York Daily News: “You don’t have to be Jewish to be a friend of Steven Spielberg…and you don’t have to be a Scientologist to be a friend of Tom Cruise.” Fair enough. But don’t think Tom’s not trying to get you in those gates, Will!
